SETUP GUIDE ON QUICK FREQUENCY DETECTION
Carry out the following steps:
- Take a smartphone
- Buy a sim card from provider X and insert it into your test mobile device
Ensure to enter the required information for the correct provider settings.
Please follow the below checklist each time with every provider settings entry:
- Mobile Country Code (MCC)
- Mobile Network Codes MNC
- DL frequency number (DL Earfcn)
- LTE Band
Next step is to start the phone with the sim card from provider X and type the below secret codes
ServiceMode Secret Phone Codes:
- Samsung code: *#0011#
- iPhone code: *3001#12345#*
- Huawei code: *#0*#
- MTK general code: *#*#4636#*#*
- Android general code: *#*#197328640#*#*
Afterwards, carry out the following steps:
- On the phone service page, find the DL frequency number
- On the phone service page, find the MCC
- On the phone service page, find the MNC
Lastly, Visit the operations center and put the DL Frequency, MCC and MNC number when adding a new provider.
After entering the DL frequency, MCC and MNC number on the dashboard the sensor is set up to detect devices that use provider X.
Using cellmapper, follow these steps:
- Go to the location
- Left click and select provider
You will be directed to the menu.
Select provider in menu.
You will then see the mcc and mnc.
Go back to the menu
Filter and scroll down to see the frequencies
